The design brief for Cabalar called for minimal modern design meets Old Butchery meets 70's Dive Bar. This description, paired with a fun, bold brand and an old building with beautiful architectural elements, guided our design decisions as we mixed styles, decades and materials. We selected a combination of honey-toned wood, bold-patterned fabric, lots of tile and unique light fixtures, resulting in a style that you can’t quite put your finger on!

ROUNDBREADS BAKERY
Lititz, PA
This bagel and doughnut shop blends cozy retro charm with playful modern touches, creating a space that feels both nostalgic and lively. Specific elements included a mix of shapes (leaning into the circle theme while balancing it with the hard lines of rectangles, squares and stripes), a bold color palette inspired by the brand, refurbished vintage chairs, and thematic light fixtures. Every design choice was intended to make the bakery feel warm, approachable, and visually exciting while reflecting the creativity of the food itself.
